Our standard
LaunchAI Hub is a high-trust environment for ambitious work. Every Founder, Mentor, Partner, Chapter Lead, staff member, speaker and guest is expected to act with respect, candour, fairness and professional care.
Expected conduct
- Give direct feedback without humiliation or hostility.
- Respect confidentiality, intellectual property and Founder consent.
- Disclose material conflicts, incentives and competing interests.
- Use inclusive language and make reasonable space for different backgrounds and access needs.
- Follow event, security, privacy and responsible-AI requirements.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, discrimination, threats, retaliation or unwanted sexual attention.
- Misuse of confidential information, Founder data or privileged access.
- Fraud, bribery, undisclosed pay-to-play activity or deceptive claims.
- Pressure to surrender equity, purchase services or accept introductions outside approved processes.
- Unsafe, unlawful or intentionally harmful use of AI systems or community resources.
Mentor and investor boundaries
Mentors and investors must distinguish advice from commitments, disclose conflicts and avoid exploiting information or power asymmetries. Any personal investment, employment or commercial relationship must occur transparently and outside claims of LaunchAI Hub endorsement.
Reporting
Concerns may be submitted privately through the Contact page. A dedicated safeguarding contact, anonymous channel and escalation process will be published before live programming.
Response and due process
Reports will be assessed promptly, shared only as needed and handled without retaliation. Responses may include support, facilitated resolution, warnings, removal from an event, suspension or termination. Serious safety or legal concerns may be referred to appropriate authorities.
Chapter accountability
Local Chapters operate under the same global standard. Chapter Leads must escalate serious concerns and may not override safeguarding, conflict or privacy requirements.
Acknowledgement
Program and community participation may require affirmative acknowledgement of the final Code of Conduct. This draft will be reviewed with Canadian counsel and safeguarding expertise before becoming binding.
